today's warmup drawing is of Lone Wolf & Cub, which is a long-running manga tv and film series from Japan. i must confess to never having read the books or seen the films, but the characters were suggested to me by my friend Coop. i liked the visual of this badass samurai type hauling around a baby. haha from reading the wiki, it sounds like a really cool story! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lone_wolf_and_cub
i decided to throw some tones down on it to give it some depth. gotta change things up every once in awhile!
