Kicking off 2012 with Zee herself, Zatanna!

Warming up today, I decided to draw my boy Kevin Mellon's character, Oren 'Rooster' Redmond, from his hit book from Image Comics, 'Heart.' Kevin's a great dude (and a great sport for putting up with Nick Pitarra & I), and I've been a fan of his style for a long time. His book is fantastic, even for an MMA noob such as myself--I highly recommend it! Hope I got the tattoos right!

Lost Morning Glories Cover

Found this cover in my archives the other day. It was started back in 2010 when it looked like Morning Glories #2 was going to go to a fourth printing. It only got half completed before the fourth printing was canned. I liked the X-men-ish vibe with it (it was influenced by those old Silvestri X-men covers), and decided to finish it up!
